Cat Bullet

Thursday Morning

Feeling rather...

Well, we had the first exam in our Environmental Chemistry class last night. I’ll be honest and say that I did not study to the length to which I should have. But, based on the shocked/glazed faces of my fellow students, neither did anyone else…

So it is over. I hate to take this attitude, but all I have to do is to beat the “average” in the class, and I have been well above that so far. I now have a really good idea of how to prepare for future exams, so that will be OK.

It is very cold this morning, but should be warming up in a day or so. It has been a long winter this time around.

Knitting related: Not much to report. I’ve been doing a lot of computer work at work, so my hands have been hurting a little bit. Hopefully, I’ll be able to knit over the weekend. In the meantime, I have to finish up a library book that is due on Saturday, so I’ll focus on that for a while.

Speaking of library books, I must report that The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse was every bit as funny as the title implied. If you like old school murder mysteries, Monty Python and Douglas Adams, you should try to get a copy of this book. I particularly enjoyed having it in the audio version, because there is something intrinsically funny about the word “bunnies” when it is spoken in a British accent.

Go ahead, try it. See what I mean??? You laughed, didn’t you?

The book has been returned to the Jefferson County Library System – if you live there, you should be able to request it to be delivered to your local branch.

So that is what is new and exciting in my life. Hope everyone has had a good week.
